Child splashingParents of school aged children often struggle with what to do for childcare. It is hard to find a temporary care nanny.

Teachers who are off for the summer often don’t need summer care. But they don’t want to lose their great nanny.

What a match! Often people think of nanny shares and think care must happen on the same day. Nanny shares can work this way too.

On Via The Village we call them ‘opposite day of care shares’. Families can select this during profile creation. Spread the word!

Hello all! My name is Jennifer and I am currently seeking employment for the summer as a nanny. Please reach out to me if this is something you need and we can talk further, I have a bachelors degree, experience, and references. Thanks!

This is such a wonderful idea! I know several nannies who nanny for teachers and find themselves unemployed for the summers! I also know sometimes nannies want to pick up extra work when their nanny families go on vacation in the summer! This is a great solution!

This has been a great solution for us! My wife is a teacher so we didn’t need our lovely nanny this summer but a nearby family we found on viathevillage.com has school aged kids they only need help during summer months.

    Perfect!
